Le Parfait Paris in San Diego, CA is looking for one Overnight Pastry Chef Manager in charge of managing the overnight shift in order to finish baking bake goods, assembling pastries and controlling everything is properly packed per store before the driver start delivering to each pastry shops (total of 7). We are located at 4564 Alvarado Canyon Road Suite G 92120. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, reliable and responsible.
Starting time 8pm until 4:30am. Full time 5 days a week, 8hrs shifts.
Must have Weekends and Holidays available
In order to qualify for this position, you must have 2 to 3 years of managerial experience in restaurant/bakery/pastry or you must have worked in a similar work environment.
Responsibilities
OVERSEE OVERNIGHT SHIFT, LEAD 3 to 4 PEOPLE WITH YOU.
Plan your production night when printing your shift production report
Be part of the overnight production (assembling, baking, finishing decoration on cakes and packing all products in delivery boxes per stores)
Control oven temperatures are set properly and monitor or modify as needed
Mentor and manage your overnight team to ensure all products are done following company standard and everything is finished on time.
Control with delivery driver that everything is properly boxed and organized in the truck
Place fruits orders based on inventory
Train new hires
Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment
Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, you must have 2 to 3 years of experience in restaurant/bakery/pastry or you must have worked in a similar work environment.
You must have managerial experience.
You must be attentive to detail in all aspects of baking
You must be good in time management and problem solving
You must be dedicated to working as a team towards one goal
As a Plus, you already have your servsafe certification
