Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the receiving process at our distribution center, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in handling incoming shipments.
Duties
- Coordinate and oversee the receiving of all incoming shipments
- Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies
- Verify contents of shipments against purchase orders
- Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track and update inventory
- Operate Forklift Truck to move and store received items
- Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure timely processing of received goods
- Maintain organized stock in the warehouse
- Assist with order packaging
Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving within a distribution center environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
- Knowledge of order packaging processes and warehouse operations
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
