Job Description: This role is crucial in ensuring that our printed materials meet the highest standards of quality and precision.
Responsibilities:
Operate UV flatbed printers to produce high-quality prints on various substrates.
Set up and calibrate the printer according to job specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment.
Inspect printed materials for defects and ensure consistency with color and quality standards.
Collaborate with the design and production teams to achieve optimal results.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a UV Flatbed Operator or similar role in a printing environment.
Strong understanding of UV printing technology and techniques.
Ability to read and interpret job orders and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Physical ability to lift and move materials as required.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be able to read and comprehend written and oral instructions including safety rules, operating procedures, batch recipes, and material identification.
Must have mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide as well as making the necessary conversions.
Able to walk and stand for long periods.
Displays good troubleshooting skills.
Experience working with forklifts is preferred but not required.
Aptitude for mechanics.
Basic computer skills.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
