TC Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and coachable Administrative Assistant to support our Labor Compliance Department. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who enjoys accuracy, follows direction well, and can think clearly when managing multiple priorities or tight deadlines.
You’ll receive hands-on training from our Senior Labor Compliance Specialist as well as members of our Accounting Department, providing a strong foundation in compliance documentation and administrative procedures within a structured, fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
Review certified payrolls, benefit statements, and apprenticeship documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Verify and track subcontractor submissions in systems such as LCP Tracker, E-Mars, and Prism.
Request and follow up on missing or corrected documentation from subcontractors and vendors.
Maintain accurate and organized digital and paper compliance files.
Compile data and assist in preparing reports for agency or third-party information requests.
Provide administrative support to the Labor Compliance team and CFO.
Stay composed, solutions-oriented, and adaptable when priorities shift or multiple deadlines overlap.
Qualifications
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to accept feedback and respond positively to coaching and direction.
Willingness to learn, follow established procedures, and work collaboratively with experienced team members.
Capable of staying organized and thinking clearly in a busy, deadline-driven environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required.
Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
Typing speed of 30 WPM / 10,000 KPH preferred.
Experience with Sage 300 (Timberline), LCP Tracker, E-Mars, or Prism a plus, but not required.
Education & Experience
Some college coursework or an Associate degree preferred — ideally in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
Equivalent work experience in an office or administrative setting will also be considered.
