Compensation: Starting at $18/hr and up based on experience

United States Karate Academy (USKA) is looking for a motivated and energetic Martial Arts Instructor to join our growing team!
We’ve been serving the San Diego community since 2007, helping students of all ages build confidence, discipline, focus, and respect through martial arts training.
Job Responsibilities
Teach fun, safe, and structured martial arts classes for kids, teens, and adults
Create a positive and encouraging atmosphere for all students
Build relationships with students and parents
Learn and deliver USKA’s established curriculum and communication scripts
Help with enrollments, renewals, and customer service
Keep the school clean, organized, and professional
Assist with special events, testing, and occasional weekend programs
Requirements
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Excellent communication and people skills
Comfortable working with children and families
Ability to memorize and teach structured material
Prior martial arts or teaching experience a plus (training provided)
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Available for some weekend shifts
