Description We are searching for a dedicated and experienced Attorney to join a non-profit organization in San Francisco, California.Responsibilities: Draft legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings. Collaborate with clients, senior associates, and other staff to ensure cases are resolved efficiently. Attend court hearings and other legal proceedings, conduct legal research, and work with partner agencies to offer legal advice. Update clients on their cases, communicate with court, conduct court appearances, argue motions before court, and negotiate settlements. Establish and refine operating procedures and policies to ensure appropriate handling of client cases and other aspects of legal service delivery.Requirements Must hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Admitted to the state bar and in good standing. Proven experience in civil litigation and court hearings. Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
