Committed to delivering exceptional, personalized service that is tailored to the unique needs of each client.Job Description: Hiring for a motivated and experienced Tax Attorney who will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal assistance to our clients and representing them in tax court hearings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax law, excellent negotiation skills, and is a former IRS employee or an IRS enrolled agent. This position is 100% remote so candidates from around the US are encouraged to apply. Roles and Responsibilities:
Conduct tax audits for ongoing compliance.
Represent clients in tax court, negotiating settlements, penalties, and interests.
Regular correspondence with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on behalf of clients.
Prepare and advise on tax filings, disputes and other tax-related matters.
Stay up-to-date on recent tax law changes, researching and interpreting tax laws and regulations.
Advise clients on long-term tax strategies to optimize their financial position.
Requirements
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the state bar.
At least 3-5 years experience practicing tax law.
Preferred prior experience working at the IRS or as an IRS enrolled agent.
Profound knowledge of federal and state tax codes and regulations.
Exceptional analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple clients and cases simultaneously.
