Description We are partnering with a leading Aerospace Company based in San Francisco, CA to source Government Contracts Specialist to join their teams on a temporary, fully remote, and part-time (20-30 hours/week) basis. As a Government Contracts Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing various government contracts and agreements, including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and 15 contracts, Other Transaction Authority (OTA) agreements, Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADA), grants, and similar contracting vehicles. Your expertise in navigating government processes and ensuring compliance will be crucial to the successful execution of this organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge research and development initiatives, contributing to the advancement of aerospace technology. Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the full lifecycle of FAR Part 12 and 15 contracts, ensuring compliance with all regulations and rules.

Demonstrate expert knowledge in the procedures and policies of Other Transaction Authority (OTA) agreements.

Handle legal agreements associated with Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADA).

Successfully manage and monitor the execution of various government grants.

Skillfully navigate through different forms of contracting vehicles such as IDIQ contracts, GSA Schedules, and GWACs.

Support the team during audits, reviews, and inquiries related to any contracts or agreements.

Draft, review, and redline government contracts and agreements.

Maintain accurate and organized contract documentation and records.

Provide expert advice and guidance on government contracting processes and regulations, staying current with updates and changes.

Support the continuous improvement of contract management processes and procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Government Contracts Specialist/Administrator or a similar role.

Extensive knowledge of FAR Part 12 and 15 contracts, OTA, CRADA, grants, and other governmental contracting vehicles.

Excellent understanding of government contract laws and regulations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.

Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in the aerospace or defense industry.

Familiarity with innovative research and development projects.

Excellent active listening skills and strong abilities to hear key components of patient feedback in order to effectively triage complaints and/or grievances. Excellent customer service and communication/interpersonal skills, both over the telephone, email, and directly. Thorough knowledge of patient relations’ mission. Apply knowledge to provide patient support and improve patient satisfaction is preferred. Knowledge of patient relations, medical center, and policies and processes. Thorough knowledge of relevant patients\' rights federal, state, and local laws and regulations to identify potential compliance risks, clinical and operational implications is preferred.
