We are seeking a highly motivated, sports-minded intern to collaborate closely with our NBC Sports Bay Area and NBC Sports California digital team. This role will involve assisting in writing, editing, social media curation, and the overall production of daily content for our website and app. This internship will help you develop your writing and editing skills, enhance your editorial judgment, provide real-world newsroom experience, and aid in building practical skills with CMS and web publishing programs.A snapshot of your responsibilities:Pitch story ideas/angles around our local teamsMonitor Google Trends and social media trending topics for relevant story ideasWrite assigned storiesMonitor news conferences and other sources for story leads/ideasCut and post in-game social media clips to Twitter and Instagram
