Our efforts our focused on improving education, immigration reform, the environment and the health of the world.The Senior Fund Accountant is a key member of the finance team, demonstrating a diverse set of responsibilities such as accounting for our investment portfolio activity and financial reporting.The RoleRecord and book journal entries for all fund transactions in NetSuite for review by accounting manager
Prepare cash reconciliations on a weekly/monthly basis for review by accounting manager
Assist with carried interest waterfall calculation for distribution across multiple fund entities
Aid in backend investment funding process – assist with preparation of wire tables with relevant investment details and initiate approval flow for wire processing in connection with direct and fund of fund transactions
Requirements
Keys3-4+ years of accounting experience in the following categories, ideally with exposure to valuation:
Straight out of public (audit, ideally with asset management clients)
Straight industry (fund accounting experience only)
Not open to straight tax candidates
Strong communication skills; Strong attention to detail
Excellent in Excel

You can go to both PA/SF offices eventually but have to start in PA office for training
