Description The Sales Compensation Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, effectiveness, and fairness of the sales compensation plans. This position involves analyzing sales performance data, designing and implementing compensation structures, and providing insights to optimize sales incentive programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of sales operations, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to drive results.

Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret sales performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of existing compensation plans and identify areas for improvement.

Compensation Plan Design: Design, model, and recommend sales compensation plans that align with business objectives, sales strategies, and market trends.

Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop sales compensation budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with company goals and financial targets.

Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of sales compensation programs and provide actionable insights to sales leadership.

Sales Operations Support: Collaborate with Sales Operations, Finance, and Human Resources teams to ensure accurate and timely administration of compensation plans, including commission calculations, quota setting, and payouts.

Policy Compliance: Monitor sales compensation policies and practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company guidelines.

Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and drive continuous improvement in sales compensation practices.

Communication and Training: Communicate changes to sales compensation plans and policies effectively to sales teams, providing training and support as needed.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of sales compensation plans, policies, and procedures, ensuring clarity and consistency for all stakeholders.

Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc analysis and reporting as requested by management to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.

Proven experience (10+ years) in sales compensation analysis, design, and administration.

Strong proficiency in Captivate IQ - min 3 years of experience

Deep understanding of sales operations, incentive structures, and compensation principles.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in data analysis and reporting.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive cross-functional initiatives to completion.
