San Francisco Homeless Outreach Team (SFHOT) is a dynamic and exciting program that works collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams to engage and stabilize chronically homeless individuals and to help establish care for chronic conditions and find permanent housing. The Senior Behavioral Health Clinician provides direct clinical supervision and administrative coordination for Social Work Supervisors and the Housing Coordinator, along with clinical support to the Case Management team.
Under the supervision of the SFHOT Director, the Senior Behavioral Health Clinician provides leadership overseeing client outcomes, i.e., engagement, access to benefits, medical and behavioral health care, and access to transitional and/or permanent housing, while providing quality assurance and operational oversight.
The Senior Behavioral Health Clinician functions within the Leadership Team of SFHOT. The program is comprised of staff from Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing (HSH), Department of Public Health (DPH) and non-profit contract staff through Heluna Health. The Senior Behavioral Health Clinician’s work occurs within the context of best clinical practices including harm reduction and trauma informed care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Possession of a valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS); OR
Possession of a valid license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) , issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
