We deliver actionable insights across all aspects of the talent lifecycle - recruiting, selection, onboarding, development, engagement, and retention - to create positive people and business outcomes.About the RoleAs a senior analyst, you will be responsible for designing and building dashboards, and conducting custom analyses for a diverse array of customers in and outside of HR. You will have the opportunity to influence how we evolve our self-service data ecosystem and improve how employees consume people data at Uber. The team will be looking to you as a people data expert with an ownership mentality and strong desire to go beyond the numbers, uncovering insights behind the data.This role will sit in our San Francisco or Chicago offices and report into the Head of Organizational Analytics.What You'll Do
Lead the design, build, and maintenance of dashboards intended to answer critical business questions using people data (such as turnover, DEI, and employee movement)
Conduct custom analysis intended to answer important question that inform people and talent strategy
Provide quick, accurate, and reliable ad-hoc reports to leadership
Proactively identify and resolve data issues
Empower partner teams to enhance their proficiency with understanding and using people data to make evidence-based decisions
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of demonstrated experience in an analyst role
Advanced skills in data querying, data analysis, dashboard development, and data visualization
Strong understanding of approaches to measurement and statistics
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
Fluent in SQL; experience in R and Tableau are a plus

Analytical Skills - translate data and insights into a meaningful story to drive strategy, action, and decision-making.
Communication - excellent at communicating information to audiences of all levels in a clear and concise manner

Teamwork - Collaborates and makes compromises when necessary in order to help broader org achieve goals
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$111,000 per year - USD$123,500 per year. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$123,000 per year - USD$137,000 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$123,000 per year - USD$137,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
