You mentor, evangelize and implement best practices. You work well in a team environment and you're considered a go-to person for complex challenges.Key job responsibilities
Implement complex Web Frontend challenges, be it in Typescript, React or D3.
Work across multiple teams in multiple geos and ensure a high quality bar.
Considered an expert on the team who other FEEs will consult for advise.
Set and maintain the standards for industry best practices.
Work closely with product managers and product design to push the envelope on great UI/UX.
A day in the lifeLead projects and collaborate across engineering, product, and design to shape our product vision.Work closely with UX designers and product managers to develop dynamic UI experiences. Enhance and optimize existing services to improve reliability, scalability, and flexibility.Provide mentorship to other engineers and help change development processes to increase developer productivity and project predictability.You review code and as a result raise the quality bar of the entire team.About the teamThe eero BPE team consists of several smaller teams, each with their own focus areas. Our team members are located both at eero's HQ in San Francisco, as well as across several locations North and South America. People on the BPE team take their work seriously, without taking themselves too seriously. We value having a laugh once in a while and we value open communication. 5+ years of professional frontend web development, using JS / TS, HTML and CSS
Experience using Javascript frameworks such as React and Next.js
Experience using modern testing frameworks
Experience mentoring and being in charge of a frontend tech stack
Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals (OO design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing and implementing complex frontend challenges, be it in Typescript, React or D3.
Experience working across multiple teams, across multiple geos.
