Description We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team in San Jose, California. This role is centered around maintaining accurate customer credit records, processing credit applications, and ensuring the efficient collection of delinquent payments in a high-volume data entry environment. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities Accurately process high volumes of customer credit applications Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of customer credit Ensure prompt resolution of customer credit inquiries Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments Perform account reconciliations and handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) Manage the billing process and invoice processing for numerous customers daily Utilize skills in data entry to maintain and update financial records Proficiently use financial software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to perform work duties. Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in Billing and Invoice Processing Proficient in Data Entry Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Familiarity with Oracle software Experience with QuickBooks Knowledge of SAP software Ability to work in a team and independently Strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Strong problem-solving skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience.
