Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in San Jose, California. The individual will be responsible for overseeing routine accounts receivable activities, analyzing regular management reporting, and maintaining positive relationships with team members, clients, and vendors. This role is within the industry and will require the use of various accounting software and systems.Responsibilities: Accurately record and process client payments Issue monthly client statements to ensure timely collection of payments Negotiate with clients in cases of delayed or non-payment Resolve client inquiries efficiently and professionally Prepare and analyze regular management reporting for internal use Maintain and update function process documentation regularly Foster positive relationships with team members, clients, and vendors Balance and maintain petty cash balance on a monthly basis Assist with AP/Billing duties as needed/requested Perform other administrative duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or similar role Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services Experience with CRM systems Proficiency in Epic Software Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems Ability to perform Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) Proficiency in Billing Functions Knowledge of Cash Activity procedures Experience with Check Processing Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
