Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior GIS Specialist to join our Evergreen Division. As a Senior GIS, you will be responsible for supporting the Wildfire Mitigation Team. You will be responsible for:- Compiling, manipulating, and analyzing geospatial data- Designing, developing, and maintaining databases and systems of GIS Data- Creating reports, maps, applications, and visualizations conveying results of spatial analyses- Preparing GIS packages and converting construction drawings into KMZ files within ArcGIS Online.- Writing macros and enhancing automationWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Comprehensive working knowledge of database concepts.- Demonstrated experience handling multiple priorities, organizing work to meet changing priorities, and working efficiently and effectively under pressure.- Proven customer service with internal teams, with sense of urgency, attention to detail, and ability to handle situations diplomatically and across various levels of the organization.- Good oral communication skills, including good listening skills, to communicate with technical and non-technical internal clients.- Good project management skills including communications coordination; time and task management with employees at all levels of the organization; budget preparation and tracking; and coordination with outside vendors. - Utility experience- Experience with automation tools such as Microsoft Power Automate / Flow or Windows Task Scheduler nullWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
