ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Administer various human resources plans and procedures for all organization personnelAssist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and proceduresPrepares and maintains the employee handbook and policies and procedures manualParticipates in developing departmental goals, objectives, and systemPerform benefits administration; including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employeesDevelops and maintains affirmative action programs, files EEO-1 report annually, and maintains other recordsConducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students and temporary employeesConducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-pathing program; and writes and places advertisementsHandles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewingParticipates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminarsMaintains company organization charts and the employee directoryAssists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goalsRecommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performedMaintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the databaseMaintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations  DESIRED PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:Detail oriented and committed to the highest qualitySelf-Starter with positive Can-Do attitudeWorks well under pressure and relishes the responsibility that comes with the jobProblem solving and analysisCommunication proficiencyAn open-minded individual that embraces change and innovation
