Growing and well known company in Santa Barbara is looking for a long-term temporary Accounts Payable Specialist. In this role you will be responsible for full cycle accounts payable and assisting with expense reimbursement processing. You will report to the Accounting Manager and have opportunity for career growth and quick advancement within this dynamic department!
Responsibilities:
⢠Perform full cycle accounts payable processes
⢠Review and code vendor invoices ensuring compliance with company policy
⢠Daily monitoring of the Accounts Payable inbox to ensure all invoices and other vendor communications are
properly addressed
⢠Ensure invoices are recorded in the proper accounting periods in accordance with company policy and GAAP
⢠Ensure prompt payment of vendors by immaculate data entry and timely check runs
⢠Build and manage relationships with all internal employees and vendors
⢠Support month and year end accounting close
⢠Identify ways to streamline processes and work as part of the team to implement solutions
⢠Assist with administrative tasks such as matching invoices check payments and filing, reporting and special projects
Qualifications:
⢠1+ years of prior experience in an Accounts Payable role
⢠Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Advanced Excel is a plus!
⢠Bachelorâs degree preferred
⢠Expertise in ERP systems is a plus as well
⢠Multitasker with a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset
⢠Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with comfort working both in teams and independently
⢠Ability to prioritize multiple demands,
⢠Possess strong attention to detail with efficient data entry skills
⢠Effective written and verbal communication skills
