Temporary Accounting SupportLocation: Santa Barbara, CAJob Type: Temporary Contract, Full-timeOverview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accounting professional to provide temporary support for our accounting team. This role will cover for two team members currently on leave, ensuring the smooth continuation of our financial operations.Key Responsibilities:
Month-End Close: Assist with month-end close processes, including general ledger (GL) management and journal entries.
Credit Card Process: Support the management of credit card processes, including coding of expenses and maintaining the chart of accounts.
Accounts Payable (AP): Review check requests and physician time sheets to ensure timely payments by AP.
Reconciliations: Perform various reconciliations, including balance sheet reconciliations and reconciling physician time sheets.
Invoice Management: Create invoices and apply receipts accurately.
Covering Responsibilities:
Financial Assistant/Junior Accountant: Handle non-patient accounts receivable (AR), reconcile physician time sheets, create invoices, apply receipts, and perform journal entries and reconciliations.
Staff Accountant: Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.

Secondary Skills - Nice to Haves:
Experience with large, high-volume accounting (preferably with revenue in the millions)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Strong experience in reconciling physician time sheets, creating invoices, applying receipts, and performing journal entries and reconciliations.
Ability to manage high-volume financial operations, with experience in organizations with significant revenue (e.g., $700 million).
