Bossie’s Kitchen is searching for cooks to join our kitchen team!

Owned by chefs Lauren Herman and Christina Olufson, Bossie's is a casual corner restaurant located in the "cow building" on Milpas and Canon Perdido, just blocks from the Santa Barbara Bowl. Our menu is seasonal, farmers' market sourced, and made from scratch. 


Candidates must be professional with a good attitude, able to become part of a team, and have a desire to learn and grow.

Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner cooks:

One to two years professional cooking experience is required. Shifts are Wednesday through Sunday 7:30am-2:30pm; hourly wage $18/hr, PLUS tips. This position is responsible for setting up station(s), preparing all breakfast and lunch menu items, with an understanding of proper food handling, sanitation, and mindful in preventing cross-contamination . Must be able to follow recipes and chef's instructions, work organized and efficiently, and maintain quality of all ingredients.

Prep cook:

One to two years professional kitchen experience is required. Shifts are 8am-3pm Wednesday through Sunday; hourly wage is $18-19/hr (depending on experience), PLUS tips. This position is responsible for completing and following recipes and prep list according to chef's instructions, with an understanding of proper food handling, sanitation, and mindful in preventing cross-contamination . Must be able to follow recipes and chef's instructions, work organized and efficiently, and maintain quality of all ingredients.

- Passionate, organized, positive attitude and have a strong work ethic.

- Able to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

- Able to focus on details and consistency in service.

- Interest in using locally sourced ingredients and uphold quality in preparation.

-Ability to multitask and quickly adapt to changing menu items or new cooking techniques.

- Experience in a fast paced restaurant

- Servsafe certified and/or California Food Handlers Card

- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
