Detailed Job DescriptionThis role under the Semiconductor Business Group (SPG) will support financial and operations activities & project under the Sequoia (Cost Reduction) Program. The role will spend most of the time analyzing business analytics at the segment and business unit level. The person coming into this role will collaborate with not only all Finance organizations, but Operations and Engineering functions as well. The ideal candidate needs to be comfortable with working both up and down the chain of command, using data to develop & create actionable & useful analytics, enhancing financial reporting capabilities, and complete deliverables related to regular business cycles.General Scope :
Perform Cost & Gross Margin analysis on multiple cost tracks across multiple Business Units groups & their products.
Drive financial modeling and analysis to support Gross Margin reporting for Finance & Operations executives around Sequoia cost track performance.
Provide analysis and reporting requirements for key Semiconductor executive reviews including Strategy, Forecast, and Actuals.
Solicit and participate in Sequoia projects centered around improving both solution and process, including execution of plans to achieve cost savings.
Responsible in developing or guiding efforts in automating & aggregating Sequoia Cost Track performance results.
Work within and amongst Finance, Operations, & GIS organizations on analytics efforts geared towards timely & automated Gross Margin performance measurement at the Segment BU and Cost Track level.
FY24 Responsibilities:
Responsible for SPG Ops HQ Annual and Quarterly budget preparation and review with VP of SPG Operations.
Collaboration with WWOPs on analyzing Sequoia Cost savings performance through FY24 for tracks including: MCOS, Period, Burden, Variance, OCOS.
Collaboration with AGS FSO and SPG Sequoia & BU team on analyzing Install & Warranty Cost Track performance through FY24.
Involved in measuring/validating/reporting SPG / BU Sequoia Cost Track performance versus Annual savings targets both ad hoc & in quarterly QBR executive reviews.
Qualifications & Preferences
Strong analytical & financial modeling skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, business intelligence technologies, tools & concepts such as Python, Hadoop, Tableau, Machine Learning a strong plus.
Attention to detail. Ability to think clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Must be proactive, possess solid financial analytic skills, communication skills, and be self-directed.
Must work effectively with all levels of management and with various functions (finance, operations, manufacturing) in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple and often changing priorities.
Education & Experience
BS degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred/not required
