We are looking for a Accounting / Office Support. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of accounting duties, including managing accounts payable and data entry. We are looking for someone who is a quick learner, can work independently and has the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time. This position requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to think analytically. Knowledge in the Construction Industry and proficient in QuickBooks a must. Spanish / English speaking is mandatory.

Job description

We are a rapidly growing Commercial Concrete Company seeking an experienced AP/AR bookkeeper and Officer Manager The chosen candidate will put integrity at the forefront, be skilled at their craft and enjoy being around a great group of people.

Desired Experience:

Credit card reconciliation and documentation management

Maintain accounts payable files

Assist on accounting tasks

Assist purchasing

Monitor Vendor accounts to ensure prompt payments

Resolve Vendor disputes

Maintain monthly expenses

Send out 1099 to vendors / Ensure W9 on file

Receive customer payments & enter into QB

Enter Sales Orders

Account Receivable Collections

Assist with CPA for annual tax filings

Monthly customer invoicing

Enter invoices bills into QuickBooks

Create Monthly Financials reports.

Create Budget

Maintain the company's bookkeeping functions in Quickbooks

Verify accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents and records

Update and maintain accounting transactions (i.e. disbursements, receipts, etc.)

Perform full cycle Accounts Receivable

Perform full cycle Accounts Payable

Contract review

Insurance Process

Lien process

Office support

IDEAL SKILLS/TRAITS:

Detail oriented/focused

Exceptional accounting skills

Above average written and verbal communication skills

Experience with QuickBooks

Ability to wear other hats when requested or required by Management during scheduled time

Procore experience preferred

Construction accounting back around

Education/Training:

A college degree or related coursework is preferred. Related coursework combined with experience will be considered.
