Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our firm. The ideal candidate
will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for numerous clients ,
provide client services and ensuring compliance with federal, state and local agencies. The
Bookkeeper will support clients accounting needs: bookkeeping, payroll and sales tax.
Duties
- Maintain financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local agencies.
- Assist with payroll processing and maintain payroll records.
- Provide support for tax preparation and filing as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information while adhering to ethical standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks and Excel)
- Familiarity with financial concepts such as debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, general ledger, bank reconciliation.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate bookkeeping.
- Strong technical accounting skills with the ability to utilize 10 key typing efficiently.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.
