The County of Sonoma Public Infrastructure Department (SPI) seeks a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Purchasing Agent position. As an integral member of the management team, the Purchasing Agent reports directly to the Deputy Director of Public Infrastructure Administration and is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing centralized purchasing activities for the County. The Purchasing Agent position has powers and duties prescribed by law for county purchasing agents, as outlined in the Sonoma County Municipal Code.

Hybrid Telework - A schedule that meets the needs of our staff, department operations, and the communities we serve may be available depending on the assignment.
Salary Advancement - A salary increase after 1,040 hours (6 months when working full-time) for good work performance; eligibility for a salary increase for good performance every year thereafter, until reaching the top of the salary range
