Quickbooks Controller-Bookkeeper- HR Admin

Our small company is looking for a part time Controller - Bookkeeper- HR Admin specialist to join our team. The winning candidate may start immediately and will work in person at our office location.

REQUIREMENTS:

Recent solid experience with QuickBooks on-line, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word), and PC hardware is a must

Excel proficient with expertise in using formulas

Five years + experience with A/P and A/R in a finance management role.

Attentive to detail, highly organized, able to follow instruction, problem solver and self starter,

Ability to work independently

Local applicant able to work in-office weekdays 8 to 12 hours a week between 10a-5 pm (days TBD)

DESCRIPTION:

Primary staff member responsible for Bank reconciling, account balancing, month end closing reports, HR, Insurance agreements and other regular duties as assigned or required by State and Federal law. Management reports to be created monthly and quarterly. Close out the year.

Creates weekly check runs

Maintain filing systems of above

Directly reports to the Executive Director, but able to function and prioritize independently

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONAS AND ABILITIES:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include phone and email competence.

High attention to detail, follow through, strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.

Experience working in a professional office environment.

Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize. Able to work on your own.

Must possess crisp and clear English written and verbal communication skills.

Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Must be dependable.

Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Excellent eyesight with ability to see color. Excellent hearing.

Ability to sit for long periods of time and be physically able to perform duties.

Must speak, spell and understand the English language fluently.

Must not live more than thirty minutes from the Tri-Valley.

Must have own reliable transportation and a clean driving record.

Possess a willingness to learn.
