Savvy Bookkeeper

Growing boutique business specializing in accounting, finance and administrative services for high-wealth individuals, law firms and other small businesses is looking for an extremely savvy bookkeeper. The right candidate for this position will be "technically savvy", able to successfully work with multiple clients, transitioning from one to the other while remaining focused, positive and professional.

The position will be responsible for performing day-to-day bookkeeping activities that are essential to growing and maintaining this unique business that focuses on the details of finance and other business-related activities that are such a necessity for our clients.

Candidate is resourceful, confident, quick on their feet, and consider themself a natural problem-solver. Candidate is responsive and willing to meet each challenge directly, adapting to a changing environment based on client needs. Most important is an exceptionally strong work ethic and ability to produce accurate work products with limited guidance.

Responsibilities include:

-Full-cycle Accounts payable

-Reconciles monthly bank and investment statements

-Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts; reviewing for accuracy and preparing journal entries as needed.

-Performs month and year-end close procedures

-Prepares quarterly and annual financials

-Administrative support to clients and senior staff

-Handle client related mail and bank deposits

-Payroll data preparation

-Organize and prepare incoming/outgoing tax documentation (K-1’s, 1099’s, tax notices)

-Vendor management and 1099 processing

-Special projects as assigned (we receive many special projects from clients)

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (Business, Accounting, Finance)

-QuickBooks Online (3 years current experience required)

- Impeccable documentation and record keeping ability

-Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

-Familiarity with Bill.com and Asana

-Technically savvy

-Ability think critically as well as creatively

-Must be able to work under pressure

This is a hybrid part-time role.
