Position: Office Manager - Optometry Practice

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Office Manager to lead and manage the daily operations of our busy optometry office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless office workflows, exceptional patient care, and a supportive, positive work environment for our team.

Key Responsibilities:

-Operations Management: Oversee daily office functions including appointment scheduling, optimizing patient flow, and coordinating staff assignments.

-Team Leadership: Supervise, train, mentor, and support office staff, including receptionists, technicians, and billing personnel, ensuring a cohesive and efficient team.

-Patient Experience: Foster a welcoming environment and deliver outstanding customer service by addressing patient concerns and enhancing overall satisfaction.

-Financial Management: Manage office finances, including budgeting, payroll, inventory control, and overseeing accounts receivable/payable.

-Insurance and Billing: Ensure accurate and timely insurance claim submissions, billing, and collections processes.

-Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.

-Inventory Management: Maintain and monitor optical and medical supply levels, ensuring timely procurement of necessary products.

-Technology and Efficiency: Oversee the integration and use of advanced practice management software and electronic health records to improve office efficiency and patient care.

Qualifications:

-Proven experience in office management, preferably in a healthcare setting (optometry experience is an advantage).

-Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

-Exceptional communication and customer service abilities, with a patient-centered approach.

-Solid understanding of medical billing, insurance processes, and financial management.

-Familiarity with electronic health records and practice management software.
