Woodlands Market, Marin and San Francisco's premier gourmet grocery store, has an opening for Pet Shop Manager! Only candidates who have a passion for people, animals, pet food and related products need apply!
The Pet Shop Manager is primarily responsible for ensuring that each guest and their pets have a positive shopping experience.
Cashier and assist customers with pet product related questions
Manage and order product to ensure mix meets customer demand and Woodlands brand
Train, mentor and motivate staff
Schedule writing
Stocking and inventory management
Maintaining clean store such including sweeping floors and dusting shelves
Building a first name relationship with neighborhood residents and their pets
Required Skills:
Passion for people, animals, especially cats and dogs is a must!
Outgoing customer service approach that is warm friendly and inviting to guests and their pets
Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
Remain on feet for long periods of time
Must have knowledge of pet food and products including current industry trends.
