Live Oak School seeks an experienced Morning Care Program Leader for the upcoming 2024- 2025 school year. Our school’s mission is to support the potential and promise of each student. We provide a strong academic foundation, foster skills to effect change and develop courageous and conscientious learners from all backgrounds.
The Morning Care Program Leader position will monitor students in grades kindergarten through fourth grade. Working hours are Monday through Friday from 7:15 am to 8:15 am with the possibility of expanding into an Extended Care program position. Applicants should have experience in before or after school care, professional training in independent and group play, and enjoy managing creative activities for school-age children.
Job Requirements:
-Minimum two years of proven experience working with school-age students 5- 14 years of age.
-You are available to work Monday through Friday, August 19, 2024 to mid-June 2025.
-Understanding of youth development principles.
-Able to work independently, take initiative, be flexible, and be adaptable to a variety of jobs.
-Demonstrate ability to work effectively in collaboration with others.
-Experience tutoring, creating, and leading daily activities.
Compensation for this position: $35 an hour, part-time.
