DESCRIPTION

An immediate part-time position is open for a Studio Assistant located in our Campbell office. This position is a multi-faceted support role that requires the ability to multi task and receive direction from various individuals. The ideal candidate must be professional, motivated, and able to manage varying levels of tasks throughout the day. This position is on site with an expectation of approximately 25 hours a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Primary responsibilities include assisting various Project Managers with project administration tasks, including; specification edits, agency documentation and submittal, construction logs, and additional project documentation.

- General office administration tasks: scheduling and coordinating meetings, event organization and logistics planning, answering phones, greeting guests, correspondence, supply ordering, electronic filing, maintenance and coordination of office equipment, general maintenance of office appearance, and liaison to property management relative to overall operations of office space.

- Assist Corporate department with data entry of accounts payable, client invoicing and general items.

QUALIFICATIONS

- 3-5 years administrative experience

- Support experience in the architecture/construction industry preferred. Division of the State Architect (DSA) experience a plus.

- Accounting experience a plus

- Creative writing skills a plus

- Adapt to changing situations on a daily basis

- Ability to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Exceptional organizational skills

- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite

- Precise verbal and written communication skills

- Must have a positive attitude, as well as strong interpersonal skills and administrative experience

Actual offered salary for this position varies, depending on candidate’s qualification, education, position knowledge, work experience, skills, ability, work location, and internal incumbent compensation for similar roles. We do not anticipate individuals hired into this position will start at or near the top half of the range listed; the decision will be based on each individual case. Salary range listed does not include other compensation elements such as discretionary bonus opportunities, paid time off, medical insurance, and other wage and benefit opportunities.
