Job Description
Our Puppy Coach plays a major role in the Jumpstart Program. Kindness and encouragement are key aspects of our training and of course, it takes a village. Our village is composed of our puppy's families, our fantastic team, and our puppies.
Our training is 100% positive reinforcement, mixed with a little laughter, levity, and loving encouragement. Our Puppy Coach plays a vital role in all aspects our program, from daily care, to managing play, helping with potty training and bell ringing, and other training activities. This position also supports and works closely with our Manager (please contact us if you think you may qualify for that position).
We train outdoors in the morning in green fields and malls, then in our climate controlled Nursery in the afternoon.
Hours: 8:30am - 3pm
Days: Mon through Thursday (4-day week)
Pay: $22 - $24/hr+ DOE
One week paid vacation after you've been with us 6 months, and two weeks paid vacation after one year.
Skills:
You can lift a 15 lb puppy and are quick on your feet,
You have great communication skills,
You enjoy an active environment,
You have reliable transportation and can be on time every day (that's a biggie)
You have a good driving record (We transport puppies in our vans each day to designated areas for outdoor training).
