Job Summary
The Food Hall Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas. They are responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are cleaned and sanitized efficiently and in a timely manner. The dishwasher also assists in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Operate dishwashing machines.
Sort and store cleaned items.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and equipment.
Dispose of trash and recycling.
Restock dishwashing and cleaning supplies.
Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers.
Follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist in other kitchen tasks as needed.

Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma preferred
Previous restaurant experience is a plus
Knowledge of dishwashing techniques
Basic understanding of food safety
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Physical stamina and flexibility with schedule
Prerequisite for employment:
A Valid California ServSafe Food Handler Card
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk or hear.
Frequently, it is required to use hands and arms to reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and be able to work in a sitting position for long periods of time.
