Job Title: PM Food Hall Bartender

Job Summary
The Food Hall Bartender main responsibilities will include positively interacting with guests while accurately preparing drinks and serving food in a friendly and efficient manner. Your primary functions will include servicing guests at the bar as well as drink orders for guests within the dining room.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Serve all guests in accordance to the company steps of service
Use established recipes and portion guidelines.
Sell and “upsell” food and beverages.
Collect payment for guests at the bar
Fulfill drink orders for servers, only once they have been rung in, with the same urgency as for guests.
Set up, maintain and clean the bar area properly.
Know and follow all POS procedures and act as the cashier.
Uphold and enforce all local and state liquor laws.
Complete any other tasks as assigned by a manager.
You will be assigned a bank for use each shift. They will be required to sign a bank contract holding them responsible for the amount of the bank.
Complete all assigned opening and closing side work

You can be held liable if you serve a guest a drink and the guest causes an accident, you may be legally sued by an individual.
It is company policy and against the law to serve a visibly intoxicated guest or a minor.
It is a criminal violation for you to sell, give, serve or permit alcohol beverages to a person under 21 years of age.
It is a criminal violation to sell, give, serve or permit alcohol beverages to a person who is habitually addicted to the use of alcohol. In other words, don’t take chances. Selling alcohol is a service, not a right. You may refuse to serve anyone who appears to be “out of control.”

Prerequisite for employment:
Valid California ServSafe Food Handler Card
Valid Responsible Beverage Service Certification
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk or hear.
Frequently, it is required to use hands and arms to reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and be able to work in a sitting position for long periods of time.
