Experience in a professional restaurant/commercial kitchen, 2 years (Required)
License:
Food handler certificate (Required) - we can support you in obtaining this, if needed.
Required Hours:
Sat. 8am-4pm, Sun. 8am-4pm, Mon. 9-5p
Approx 23-26 hrs/week (end times may vary slightly)

Who we are:
Golden Roots Kitchen is a prepared-meal service focused on providing clients with the highest quality food possible. Our service is membership-based and has grown significantly over the past few years. Each week we curate a menu of organic, gluten-free, highly-flavorful food to prepare and execute over the course of Friday - Tuesday. When all orders are packed, they are ready for delivery throughout Santa Cruz County and into the South Bay or pickup from our Scotts Valley kitchen. We are dedicated to cooking with integrity, from scratch, with intention, and maintaining a positive work environment. Description:
Our dishwasher/ sanitation manager is really the cornerstone that keeps the kitchen running smoothly, an incredibly important position. Organization, attention to detail, efficiency and positive attitude are essential. We hope to have this employee in the kitchen prepping and packaging with us as much as possible. While proficiency as an experienced prep cook is a bonus we are also here to help teach good knife skills and grow your experience in other roles in the kitchen. There is always room to grow in our company, and promotions and pay raises will be awarded appropriately.
