Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a mindful, hardworking, and team-oriented baker to join our pastry team full-time (40 hrs/week). This role includes early-morning production (some shifts begin as early as 4:00am). The ideal candidate is organized, positive, detail-focused, and excited to contribute to a collaborative kitchen.
What You’ll Do
Scale and mix ingredients for doughs, cookies, cakes, and fillings
Work on laminated doughs and puff pastry production
Bake pastries, cakes, and cookies to recipe standards
Prepare ingredients and components for the following day
Maintain a clean, efficient, and organized workstation
Help manage inventory and restock as needed
Execute menus developed by pastry leadership
Write daily prep lists and support smooth kitchen flow
Unload deliveries and assist teammates when needed
Uphold Loquat’s standards of hospitality, kindness, and communication
What We’re Looking For
1+ year of professional baking or pastry experience
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A calm, positive presence in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and time management
Ability to work on your feet and lift up to 50 lbs
Consistent punctuality and professionalism
Flexible schedule + ability to work early mornings

Compensation & Benefits
$22–$24/hour DOE + tips (additional $2–$3/hour)
