Position: Full-Time AM Baker
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced baker with a strong background in a variety of baked goods, including bread, bagels, sourdough, lamination (croissants and danish pastries), muffins, cookies, and basic desserts. The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills, reliability, and a sincere passion for baking.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake a range of products, including bread, bagels, sourdough products, croissants, Danish pastries, muffins, cookies, and basic desserts.
Follow recipes and coordinate production to ensure the consistent quality of all baked goods.
Manage daily production schedules to meet customer demand, efficiently produce goods, and minimize waste.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies; communicate needs for replenishment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and high product quality standards.
Adapt to new recipes and techniques as needed.
Assist with front-of-house customer service and register.
Assist with prep and organization for sandwich and pizza production.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in baking with a strong portfolio of bread, bagels, sourdough, lamination, muffins, cookies, and desserts.
Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Excellent customer service skills.
Able to stand on your feet for 6 -10 hours a day.
Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Ability to multitask and prioritize duties.
