Little Sky Bakery seeks an experienced Night Team Lead with a background in bread baking and fermentation to manage the overnight shift at our central Menlo Park bakery.
The Night Team Lead reports directly to the bakery sous chef and head chef. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring high quality, timely production at a large scale. Specifically, the Night Team Lead is responsible for:
Ensuring high quality, accurate production that conforms to all company standards
Managing, encouraging and improving the skills of the members of the night shift team
Problem solving equipment and personnel issues that may arise during their shift (or escalating these issues to the appropriate manager, if necessary)
Enforcing all health and safety standards
Communicating the company’s mission and goals on a consistent basis
Little Sky Bakery is an artisan bakery based in Menlo Park, specializing in wild yeast fermentation. In 2017, we began making sourdough bread out of a single dutch oven, and since then have expanded our product line to include a variety of naturally leavened breads, pain de mie pastries, a variety of baked goods, and prepared foods. Today, we continue to grow from our four retail locations and more than twenty farmers markets in the Bay Area.

Salary Range: $25/hr to $32/hr (based on experience), plus benefits
