The County of Sonoma Information Systems Department (ISD) Technical Services Division is currently seeking multiple Information Technology Analyst II's.
The Position
The Information Technology Analyst II (ITA II) position performs critical work on the Service Desk Team that is part of the Technical Services Division. As an ITA II, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and triaging technical issues, and will train County staff on new technology tools. In this role, you will create and maintain documentation for technical staff and general users. Additional responsibilities include:
Answering, researching, resolving, and/or escalating Service Desk calls, emails, and tickets
Analyzing systems effectiveness, and making recommendations for systems and procedural improvements
Staying up to date with new procedures and preparing communications to inform users of changes
Attending meetings and representing ISD for information sharing, system improvements, and implementation of change
Working on special projects
Providing excellent customer service
The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and has an innate desire to stay up to date with its ever-changing landscape. They will also possess many of the following:
Experience with mobile device management such as InTune or Meraki
Experience building training curricula such as "how-to," training videos, and screen recordings
Knowledge of AI and automation/scripting, best practices and suitable uses within a service desk environment
Strong knowledge of standard Windows-based desktop software Windows 10/11
Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Multi-factor authentication (MFA)
Advanced Microsoft 365 skills; Office, Azure, SharePoint, and Once Drive
Excellent inter-personal and organizational skills, the ability to effectively prioritize deadlines, and shift-gears quickly
Microsoft certifications are highly desirable, but not required
Please note: This position may require standby rotation, which would require being on-call 24 hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays for a scheduled number of days.
