Looking for Part Time Aides /opportunity to pick up additional shifts when they are available:

Currently Available Hours:

Wednesdays and Thursdays 2pm to 8pm

Paid through an Agency - you must be able to legally work in the US and sign up to be paid as an employee through an agency

Job Description

Provide In-home and in-community assistance and companionship to 2 sweet, fun, and loving developmentally disabled siblings who require 24-7 care.

Clients both are non-weight bearing, so are in wheelchairs. Home is outfitted with ceiling lift system in bedrooms and bathrooms to lift and move clients for bed/wheelchair transfers, dressing and toileting

Clients have access to 2 ramp wheelchair vans for outings in the community

Duties include, but are not limited to:

 Assistance with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and diapering/toileting

 Taking clients for community outings including shopping and fun activities - Must have CDL and Clean DMV

 Meal preparation, assistance feeding and extensive clean-up

 Provide routine house cleaning, laundry, linen changes and dishes.

 Medical Oriented Assistance – give medications, including injections as needed

 Companionship:

 engaging and interacting with clients throughout your time together with their favorite interests and activities

 enjoying playing and having fun with clients

 Help with care of pets (dog and/or cat)

 Follow specific care plans for clients and report on completed tasks

Pay and Benefits:

 $30/hour

 Opportunity to work additional shifts as they become available

 Training provided

Most meals with clients included for employee

Position Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age

Valid Driver’s License

Ability to work with limited supervision

Nurturing and compassionate nature with the desire to care for others

Have the COVID-19 vaccinations (at least 3)

Have patience and empathy for those with disabilities, delight in caring for them

Good communication and interpersonal skills (English required)

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Must be a team player and work well with others

Must be able to perform tasks requiring moderate physical strength and agility, such as bending, pulling, pushing wheelchairs, assisted lifting, etc.

Pass a state Live Scan background check going back to your 18th birthday

In compliance with Federal Law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document
