We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated live-in caretaker to provide immediate care for a 75-year-old/100lb female discharged from a rehab facility due to a fall that resulted in a fractured pelvis. The ideal candidate would support daily activities to build strength/mobility and regain the ability to walk and be independent. The priority would be to ensure she is comfortable and foster a safe and positive living environment. She needs assistance with everyday essential functions such as walking, bathing, going to the bathroom, preparing and getting food and medication, laundry, cleaning, driving to doctor appts, etc.
There is a bedroom available that is fully furnished, and in exchange for care, the rent will be free with a monthly stipend of $1,500. There will be plenty of "down" time, so the ideal candidate would also have a part-time or remote job to supplement the stipend.
