Overnight In-Home Support Position Details

Provide assistance around medication, health, hygiene and social supports to individuals with disabilities in their homes in Marin. Overnight staff can sleep during their shifts but need to wake up if any issues arise.

This job can be part time or full time, $16-$18/hr, depending on experience, plus overtime accrual.  Shifts are approximately 6pm-9am. Weekend and weekday are shifts available.

EMPLOYEE BENEFITS

Full time:

Commuter stipend up to $105/month, depending on distance of commute

Paid time off each year:

Vacation accrual: 7.5 to 20 days, depending on tenure

Part time:

Commuter stipend up to $53/month, depending on distance of commute

$25/month cell phone reimbursement

DUTIES

Begin and end shift with household duties, including light cleaning

Provide physical care of client

Prepare meals

Teach strategies to live as independently as possible

Sleep at assigned times, wake up and be alert if there is an emergency

Attend staff meetings to discuss current cases and brainstorm creative solutions to challenges

Every new hire is assigned an ICS mentor who will show you the ropes of the job during 4-8 meetings. Training sessions with this mentor will be held outside of shifts when you work with clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic computer literacy, specifically with Gmail and Microsoft Office

Excellent verbal and written skills

Valid identification, such as Real ID, driver’s license, or passport, required. A

background check will be conducted.
