Our patient-centered, talented team is seeking a skilled RDA to join our crew. We are Tamal Vista Family Dentistry, the office of Dr. James McDowell, Dr. Dan Scott, and Dr. Chris Bayer, in downtown San Rafael. With a growing practice and departure of beloved dental assistant who is moving out of the county, we are seeking a full-time back-office RDA who is passionate about dentistry and looking to be part of a supportive and collaborative team.
What services do we provide? - We are a thriving general dentistry practice who offer a full scope of services including restorative and cosmetic dentistry, implants, endo, airway therapy and more. We love families, so we see patients from the age of 3 to 103+! Position is 38 hours Mon-Fri, occasional Saturdays

Dental assistants are vital in our office and the right candidate should possess the following qualities:

Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties:
Chairside assisting and patient centered service
Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment and operatory
Procedure and operatory setup and preparation
Take x-rays with Nodmad portable unit, CBCT, and intra oral 3D scanning
Stocking supplies
Temporary crowns and veneers
Treatment planning, charting, and scheduling (Open Dental Software)
Communicate effectively with team and patients
Selection Criteria:
Current California RDA license 2 years’ experience preferred
Working knowledge of dental equipment and terminology, OSHA and safety compliance
Computer practice software experience and phone skills
