Fast growing Roofing Company looking to add a HR Generalist. We are seeking a dependable, detail orientated individual with good communication skills to run our HR Responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a background in human resource administration. Must be able to speak and write in English (Spanish is a bonus).
The HR Generalist is self motivated, responsive, and able to demonstrate initiative to support our growth. They will perform professional level human resources duties, be sensitive to business requirements, and provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude. This is not a remote position, in-office only.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enforce and maintain company policies & procedures, ensuring adherence to guidelines and precedence.
Update and maintain the Employee Policies.
Manage employee relations.
Oversee the process evaluation process.
Oversee health care and benefits programs.
Main recruiter in finding candidates to fill positions and on-board new employees.
Work with various HR Vendors for legal, payroll, and insurance issues.
Ensure and maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
Keep current on trends, best practices, regulatory changes on human resources and employment law.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or similar in Human Resources or related field with 5+ years related experience.
Planning, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in HR work.
Able to work both independently and with a team.
Exceptional customer service skills written/verbal communication.
