DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
2. Provides the highest level of customer and guest services, expedites any and all requests from customers and general manager
3. Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
4. Allocate workload and supervise maintenance staff
5. Routinely operates motor and water vehicles and other various mechanized equipment
6. Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
7. Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
8. Perform as need maintenance work on the property
9. Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
10. Ensure health and safety policies are complied with
11. Maintains awareness of safety issues and reports them immediately
12. Other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Proven experience as maintenance manager or another managerial role
2. Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
3. Must have highly effective communication skills and time management skills
4. Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
5. Must be able to maintain a calm, positive attitude during periods of high activity
6. Ability to manage multiple project simultaneously
7. Excellent attention to detail.
8. Must be able to pass a background check
9. Basic water safety skills
10. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
11. Ability to work under pressure.
12. Must be able to work flexible hours on the needs of the property
13. General accounting knowledge and basic understanding of financial statements;
