East Bay civil litigation law firm is seeking a contract attorney to complete projects based on deadlines with minimal oversight. Our ideal candidate will have 2-5 years’ experience and have 20-40 hours a week of availability. This position has the potential to develop into a full-time opportunity for the right candidate. The Candidate will provide support on various litigation matters including preparing pleadings, discovery, law & motion and pre-trial preparation. This is a “research and writing” focused position, in a collaborative environment. Areas of Litigation include business, employment, real estate and construction, and administrative.
Requirements:
Must be in good standing with California State Bar
Must own a computer, phone and have reliable internet access
Competency with standard productivity software (MS Word, Acrobat, G Suite, Browser)
Strong research and writing skills
Experience tracking time with billable entries and interacting with law firm management software.
