Maplebear Inc. D/B/A Instacart in San Francisco, CA seeks Senior Manager, Retail Accounts (Multiple Openings).
Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic initiatives to grow retailer business in the Instacart marketplace. Duties include: leveraging expertise in business development, market research, and financial analysis to build and maintain key retail partnerships; working with retail partners to define business requirements, KPIs, and development goals using the Instacart platform and guiding integration from pilot to launch; building and maintaining partnerships by providing customized marketing plans and related strategies to help retailers improve profitability and market share, such as advertising capabilities, loyalty programs, merchandising strategies, marketing campaigns, and related; working with cross-functional teams to guide implementation of strategic growth plans to meet development goals; performing on-going business, economic, and financial analysis to identify market opportunities and areas of improvement across all areas of retail partnership; ensuring development plans align with internal and external budgets and overall business goals by providing regular benchmarking, financial reporting, and market analysis to guide decision making across the organization; and other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental United States but will report directly to Instacart headquarters in San Francisco, CA.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or related field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: 2 years of experience in the job offered or related. Other special requirements include: 2 years of experience working with SQL, Tableau, or similar technologies to extract business insights from large data sets; 2 years of experience developing business cases and roadmaps for strategic growth opportunities; 2 years of experience translating financial and market insights into actionable business recommendations; and 2 years of experience working with cross-functional teams on the implementation and execution of large-scale business initiatives in an e-commerce environment.
