Maplebear Inc. D/B/A Instacart in San Francisco, CA seeks Senior Manager, Retail Partnerships (Multiple Openings).
Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic initiatives to build and maintain retail partnerships. Duties included: leveraging expertise in business development, market research, and operational strategy to build and maintain key retail partnerships; working with retail partners to define business requirements, KPIs, and development goals using the Instacart platform and guiding integration from pilot to launch; building and maintaining partnerships by providing customized, data-driven marketing plans and business development strategies to help retailers improve profitability and market share within the Instacart marketplace; performing on-going marketing and business analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement across all areas of retail partnership; defining and implementing best practices across retail partnership teams to help ensure alignment of internal business goals and partner needs; negotiating contracts and agreements with retailers to ensure equitable business growth for internal and external stakeholders; and other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental United States but will report directly to Instacart headquarters in San Francisco, CA.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: 2 years of experience in the job offered or related. Other special requirements include: 2 years of experience working with SQL, Tableau, or similar technologies to extract business insights from large data sets; 2 years of experience developing business cases and roadmaps for strategic growth opportunities; 2 years of experience translating financial and market insights into actionable business recommendations; and 2 years of experience working with cross-functional teams on the implementation and execution of large-scale business initiatives in an e-commerce environment.
