A growing machine shop is looking for a full time shop help team member. Duties include, but are not limited to, assembly of machined parts, packaging, shipping, delivery, hardware ordering, and inventory management. Must have great organization skills and able to multi-task. Must be able to work independently, seek solutions when faced with an assembly dilemma or shipping challenge, and be proactive in getting parts out in a timely manner. This person is responsible for the Assembly and Shipping/Receiving area to be clean, organized, and maintained at all times. You will assist in overall shop cleaning and possible equipment maintenance as needed. A familiarity with a manufacturing environment is a plus but not necessary. You must be able to communicate effectively with all team members, outside vendors, and customers. We are a small company and every position is critical to our success! We are also willing to train the right person to grow into other positions within our business.
Requirements include:
Basic hand-tool experience
A good driving record and valid drivers license
Basic computer skills
Ability to lift 50 pounds
English speaking/writing
Spanish useful but not required
Day Shift position available:
Day: 7am - 3:30pm
