We are looking for full-time employees at JP Metal Fabrication in Santa Clara. Ideally, we are looking for applicants with a couple years of experience. Below are the following positions available:
1. CNC SETUP & PROGRAMMER
- 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
- able to setup and operate CNC mills
-if interested in programming position, we used GibbsCAM and can provide training
- knowledge and application of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments (calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth, gauges, indicators, scales, etc.)
- ability to read engineering drawings and specifications with an intermediate understanding of geometric tolerances and dimensions
- knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used on various machines
- knowledge of various manufacturing materials (aluminum, steel, plastics, etc.)
2. SHIPPING ASSISTANT (MATERIAL HANDLER)
- help with basic packaging and shipping of manufactured machines parts
- seeking attention to detail and high dexterity
-forklift experience is a plus, but not required
- prefer applicants who have worked in a manufacturing environment, but are open to minimal experience
-knowledge of Shopkeeper MRP is a huge plus
